Terms of cancelation

  • Baitshely allows guests to choose from the following cancellation conditions: flexible, moderate and strict. We will apply them to protect both the host and the traveler. The very strict cancellation conditions apply in special circumstances, and only by invitation. Each ad and booking on our website clearly specifies the cancellation policy. Travelers can cancel and verify the penalties incurred by consulting their travel recap. The cleaning fee is always refunded if the tenant does not show up at the arrival.
  • Service charges are non-refundable.
  • The accommodation costs (the total amount to be paid) are refundable in certain cases as indicated below.
  • If there is a complaint on one side or the other, Baitshely must be notified within 24 hours of entering the premises.
  • The Customer Reimbursement Policy, Force Majeure or cancellation by Baitshely for any other reason provided by the General Conditions may supersede the cancellation terms. Please check these exceptions.
  • Applicable taxes will be withheld and repaid.

Flexible: Full refund up to 1 day before arrival, excluding costs

In order to receive a full refund of the accommodation costs, the cancellation must take place 24 hours before the local arrival time indicated on the advertisement (or 15:00 if the time is not specified). For example, if the arrival is scheduled on a Friday, you can cancel until the indicated arrival time on Thursday of the same week.

If the traveler cancels less than 24 hours before the arrival date, the first night will not be refunded.

If the traveler arrives and decides to leave before the scheduled date, the accommodation costs for the nights he will not spend in the accommodation 24 hours after the official cancellation are refunded in full.

Moderate: Full refund up to 5 days before arrival, excluding costs

To receive a full refund of the accommodation costs, the cancellation must take place five full days before the local time of arrival indicated on the advertisement (or 15 h 00 if it is not specified). For example, if the arrival is scheduled on a Friday, you must cancel by the previous Sunday before the indicated arrival time.

If the traveler cancels less than 5 days before the arrival date, the first night is not refundable but the accommodation costs for the following nights will be refunded at 50%.

If the traveler arrives and decides to leave before the scheduled date, the accommodation costs of the nights not spent in the accommodation 24 hours after the official cancellation are reimbursed 50%.

Strict: Refund up to 50% up to 1 week before arrival, excluding costs

To receive a refund of 50% of the accommodation costs, the cancellation must take place 7 full days before the local time of arrival indicated on the advertisement (or 15 h 00 if it is not specified). Otherwise, you will not be refunded. For example, if the arrival is scheduled on a Friday, you must cancel by the previous Friday before the indicated arrival time.

If the traveler cancels less than 7 days in advance, the nights not spent in the accommodation are not reimbursed.

If the traveler arrives or decides to leave before the scheduled date, the nights not spent in the accommodation will not be refunded.
